Femme Verve: How did your childhood influence who you are as an artist?

"A memory I love is asking my mum to replay the scene from The Aristocats where Marie plays the piano and dips her hands in paint while singing and dancing. To this day that’s how I love to create, not thinking too much, just playing, getting paint everywhere, turning on music and going with the rhythm.”

Helena

Helena is a multidisciplinary designer from Italy whose work blends digital illustration with a hand drawn details.

Femme Verve: What is your relationship to muses? Do you have any?

" I don’t really have muses in the traditional sense. I’m more inspired by everyday things: conversations, music, objects, moods, things people say online, or small moments that feel relatable.

Curiosity is probably my biggest source of inspiration. Paying attention to what feels human, relatable, funny, or emotional usually sparks ideas for me.”
